Hi there!

 Welcome to life behind my blue door!

My name is Grace, I'm a wife (to Stuart) & a Stay at Home mum (to Freddie & Alex). 

I am a qualified teacher but it was always my dream to be a stay at home mum once we had a family and I am so blessed to be able to do so - its a privilege and definitely not something that I take for granted.

We built our forever home in 2015 - the same year that we got married and had our first baby! (Nuts or what!)

We live in the beautiful countryside, just outside Downpatrick, and we are constantly putting finishing touches on our home - which as the title of this blog suggests, has a blue door! 

I love all things about Faith, Family and Food, with a bit of House Faffing thrown in for good measure.
